According to popular legend, the boots of the Germans fleeing the Belgians were the source of this spectacular gash. It is therefore both natural and historical, but the main attraction is constituted by this magnificent relief of the Nkoma massif facing south-east and offering a breathtaking view of the Kumoso plain which is lost at the distant Tanzanian borders.
