As well as being a popular hospital, this place is steeped in history: in front of this beautiful Bauhaus building, at the entrance of which a bust commemorates the assassination of Prince Rwagasore, his friend Pierre Ngendandumwe, also a famous Prime Minister, was killed in January 1965, and his memory lives on.
